Sylvie Lapointe, a self-taught painter born in Clermont and still lives in the magnificent region of Charlevoix where she have worked with many figurative painters.

Since childhood, she has traveled the province of Québec for the pleasure of discovery as well as for her own pleasure. The diversity of Quebec's landscapes fascinates the artist.

So much beauty makes Sylvie grow in her art and delights her through the seasons. Her vision of color is divided between the real and the imaginary. The artist wander through a pool of beauty made up of constantly shifting hues, mountains, paths, and waterways.

Inspiration propels Sylvie towards the creation of her next Charlevoix work and its history.
