Born in Toronto and currently living and working from her home in Oakville Ontario, Barb TenEycke is a self-taught painter with a reverence for the diverse landscape of Canada. Full-time artist since 2013, Barb made the leap after a twenty-something career in decorating and design.

'My focus is on creating works that convey calm, excitement, or stir emotion. Through the infusion of light, saturation or desaturation of color, I aim to produce landscapes, both real and imagined, infused with ethereal light, depth and hope.'
